The safe operation of cranes continues to be a major concern in Ontario. In the past few years, there have been a number of serious incidents and close calls in crane operations.
A log book is required for all cranes or similar hoisting devices used at a construction project. This log book serves as a permanent record of all inspections, tests, repairs, modifications, and maintenance performed on the crane as required by O. Reg. 213/91, s. 152.
IHSA's Mobile Crane Log Book contains report forms for daily, monthly, and annual inspections of all critical mobile crane components, with white tear-out sheets for office records and yellow duplicates to be kept in the log. Each log book contains 12 sets of report forms. 8½" x 11". 2024 version.
