The Electrical Utility Safety Rules (EUSR) have been developed to prevent personal injury, illness, and property damage. This pocket-sized edition of the rule book, updated in 2024, is printed on waterproof, tear-resistant paper.
Since 1914, the rule book has been the foundation of health and safety education in the electrical and utilities industry—and provided guidance for other types of work performed on or in proximity to electrical transmission or distribution systems or apparatus. It uses the knowledge and experience of the membership and other industry experts to help you identify, eliminate, and control hazards on the worksite.
The new edition was revised with input from key stakeholders and the dedicated efforts of a Joint Working Team made up of representatives from IHSA and Hydro One Inc.
