Program Description
This is an entry-level course for workers and supervisors who work aloft where traditional fall protection is not sufficient. This may include engineered structures and natural landscapes such as trees. This program is in accordance with the standards of the Society of Professional Rope Access Technicians (SPRAT). This will enable participants to learn basic rope access and rescue techniques.

Who Should Attend?
Personnel who may be involved in accessing work at heights and those who may be required to perform a rescue while suspended by rope.
Personal Protective Equipment / What to Bring
Participants are required to bring their own CSA-approved head, eye, hand, and foot protection, traffic vest, and suitable work clothes. Attendees will not be permitted to participate in the course if they do not bring the noted personal protective equipment and clothing.
NOTE
This program is physically demanding and successful completion involves a complete practical assessment on the final day. Those attendees who do not perform the minimum requirements will be required to repeat the course at a later date.
NOTE
Delivery of this program at your facility will require a suitable space to complete the practical portion of the program as well as the required equipment. Please check with your IHSA Consultant/Trainer for specific requirements.
