Program Description

A Utility Work Protection Code overview half-day course is available, for information purposes only, in order to acquaint participants with the fundamentals of the code.

Who Should Attend?

Personnel who require general knowledge of the code but are not responsible for its application. This includes engineering and group support staff, arborists, and civil labour.



This does not certify participants and does not qualify for re-certification.



There are no prerequisites for this course.


Learning Evaluation

A score of 80% on the final evaluation is required for successful completion of the course.


Participant Course Evaluation

At the end of the training, participants will have the opportunity to evaluate and provide comments about the training they received.

Registration fees for IHSA’s in-class training courses will be increasing. If you are registering for a course scheduled to take place prior to March 31, 2024, the price is unchanged.
