Transportation of Dangerous Goods

Program Description

This program teaches participants their legal responsibilities for safe handling, storing, and transporting of the nine classes of dangerous goods. Participants are provided with an overview of the Dangerous Goods Act and related regulations. Each participant will be issued a participant's guide to work with and make notes. The record of training expires after three years.

There are no prerequisites for this course.

Who Should Attend?

All personnel who administer, handle, store, or transport dangerous goods.

Learning Evaluation

There are module quizzes throughout the program. A score of 80% is required on the final evaluation for successful completion of the course.

A wallet-sized record of training card will be issued to each participant upon completion of the course.

Participant Course Evaluation

At the end of the training, participants will have the opportunity to evaluate and provide comments about the training they received.
