Program Description

This course helps participants become familiar with the Occupational Health and Safety Act. Participants will learn how to identify the legislative requirements that relate to their workplace.

• Joint Health and Safety Committees and health and safety representatives
• Work refusals
• Workplace responsibilities

Who Should Attend?

Anyone who does not already know their health and safety responsibilities under the legislation in Ontario.

Prerequisites

There are no prerequisites for this course.

Learning Evaluation

Participants must take part in a series of worksheet exercises. There are no pass/fail criteria assigned to this program.

The participant must meet the evaluation requirements in order to obtain a certificate of completion.

Participant Course Evaluation

At the end of the training, participants will have the opportunity to evaluate and provide comments about the training they received.
