Program Description
This hands-on program introduces or reinforces the concepts of selection, maintenance, testing, and use of live line tools. It provides participants with the skills and knowledge required to perform this type of work in the safest manner possible through both classroom and field work.

Who Should Attend?
Staff and supervisors who perform this type of work.
NOTE
Delivery of this program at your facility will require a suitable space to complete the practical portion of the program as well as the required equipment. Please check with your IHSA Consultant/Trainer for specific requirements.
Prerequisites
There are no prerequisites for this course.
Personal Protective Equipment / What to bring
Participants are required to bring their own CSA-approved head, eye, and foot protection, traffic vest, suitable clothing for outside work (FR rated for work in an electrical environment), Class #2 rubber gloves, personal hand tools, leather work gloves, full-body harness, lanyard, and climbing gear. The participant will not be permitted to participate in the course if they do not bring the noted personal protective equipment and tools.
Participant Course Evaluation
At the end of the training, participants will have the opportunity to evaluate and provide comments about the training they received.
