Program Description
Under the Canada Labour Code Part II, it is the employer's obligation to adequately train supervisors and managers in health and safety responsibilities. To help employers, IHSA offers this leading-edge course. This interactive program contains fundamental health and safety courses that will support supervisors and managers in acquiring the necessary knowledge to meet their statutory obligations.
IHSA's unique training package is aimed at meeting legislative requirements to properly manage health and safety in the workplace. This type of training is a necessary component of the competent supervisor/ manager and would benefit any employee looking for training to support a company’s health and safety program.

Who Should Attend?
Managers, supervisors, lead hands, workplace committee members, safety coordinators, and health and safety representatives who would like to increase their health and safety knowledge.
Prerequisites
There are no prerequisites for this course.
Learning Evaluation
At the end of the program, a final knowledge evaluation will be administered to determine the comprehension and information retention level of the participant. The trainee must acquire a minimum score of 75% to successfully complete the course.
Participant Course Evaluation
At the end of the training, participants will have the opportunity to evaluate and provide comments about the training they received.
