Electrical Safety Awareness - Underground Workers

Program Description

This one-day awareness course provides participants with a basic understanding of electrical hazards related to underground electrical systems and what is required to assess and control these hazards.

Who Should Attend?

This program is suitable for new workers or support personnel working around underground utility and electrical systems.

This is an awareness program only. Successful completion DOES NOT qualify the participant to install, inspect, maintain, or repair electrical equipment/apparatus except as set out in the applicable legislation.

Prerequisites

There are no prerequisites for this course.

Learning Evaluation

To obtain a certificate of completion for this program, participants must be present for the full program and achieve a grade of 70% or more on the written multiple-choice test.

Participant Course Evaluation

At the end of the training, participants will have the opportunity to evaluate and provide comments about the training they received.
