Program Description
This program shows participants how to identify confined spaces and demonstrate knowledge of legislative requirements and general procedures for confined space entry.

Who Should Attend?
Anyone working near confined spaces. See Confined Space Entry for more in-depth training.
NOTE
This is an awareness program only. There is no hands-on component to this program. Workers should receive additional training on the actual procedures they will use.
Prerequisites
There are no prerequisites for this course.
Learning Evaluation
Learners must achieve 75% on a written knowledge evaluation to successfully complete the course.
Participant Course Evaluation
At the end of the training, participants will have the opportunity to evaluate and provide comments about the training they received.
IMPORTANT NOTICE
Registration fees for IHSA’s in-class training courses will be increasing. If you are registering for a course scheduled to take place prior to March 31, 2024, the price is unchanged. If you are registering for a course scheduled for April 1, 2024 or later, the price will be higher. Please see the tables below for more information.
