The Infrastructure Health and Safety Association offers two health and safety eLearning certificates: one for independent operators and one for small businesses that employ up to 19 workers.

These certificates provide health and safety awareness training that you can complete at your own pace in your home or office. Whether you are an independent operator or a small business owner, having this awareness training will give you a competitive edge when bidding for jobs and will ensure that you and your workers are aware of common workplace hazards and know how to control them.

Once you have completed all three courses, download and complete the IHSA Independent Operator Health and Safety Certificate Application Form. Send it to IHSA via mail, fax, or email. There is a $50 administration fee for processing certificate application forms. Once your application has been approved, IHSA will send you a Health and Safety Certificate.

Small Business Health and Safety Certificate

This certificate requires the completion of the following courses.

• Workplace Violence and Harassment: What Employers Should Know
• Health and Safety Awareness Training for Workers and Supervisors

Once you have completed all five courses, download and complete the IHSA Small Business Health and Safety Certificate Application Form. Send it to IHSA via mail, fax, or email. There is a $50 administration fee for processing certificate application forms. Once your application has been approved, IHSA will send you a Health and Safety Certificate.
