Companies that violate Ontario’s Occupational Health and Safety Act (OHSA) now face fines of up to $2 million, following the provincial government’s passing of the Working for Workers Act, 2023.

Ontario is updating various crane-related provisions of O. Reg. 213/91 (Construction Projects) under the Occupational Health and Safety Act (OHSA) to improve crane safety on construction sites.
