Steps for Life walks 2025: Register for a walk near you

On any given day in Canada, three people will die from a job-related injury or occupational disease. These individuals leave behind devastated families, friends, and co-workers who will need support to navigate their grief.

Threads of Life is a registered charity supports the healing journey of families who have been impacted by a workplace fatality, traumatic life-altering injury, or occupational disease. Every year, Threads of Life hosts Steps for Life family walks across Ontario. Through these events, Threads of Life aims to educate communities about the devastating ripple effects of each workplace tragedy and to promote the ways we can work together to prevent workplace injuries and fatalities.

IHSA is sponsoring five different walk locations in 2025. We are currently recruiting walkers across all locations and are asking for monetary donations in support of this life-changing organization:

Toronto
