Registration opens for IHSA’s 2026 Annual General Meeting
To: Members of the Infrastructure Health and Safety Association
Take notice that the Annual General Meeting of voting members (the "Meeting") of the Infrastructure Health and Safety Association ("IHSA") will be held on Wednesday, October 7, 2026, at 4 p.m. EDT at the DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Toronto Airport West, 5444 Dixie Rd., Mississauga.
The Meeting has been called for the following purposes:

To ratify, sanction, confirm, and approve all acts, contracts, proceedings, appointments, elections, and payments enacted, made, done, and taken by all directors and officers of IHSA since the close of business at the last general meeting

To receive, consider, and approve the financial statements of IHSA for the fiscal year ended December 31, 2025, and the report of the auditors
-
To appoint auditors and authorize the directors to fix their remuneration
-
To ratify the elected slate of directors of IHSA
-
To transact such other business as may properly come before the Meeting or any adjournment thereof

To present the 2026 IHSA Health and Safety Awards

Arrival: Attendees will enjoy a relaxed setting with refreshments and light fare while connecting with colleagues and industry peers.

Opening remarks: Enzo Garritano, President and CEO of IHSA, will begin the afternoon with opening remarks and reflections on the past year.

Keynote speaker: Eugene Gutierrez, Executive Director of Threads of Life , will deliver a keynote presentation.

Business session and Board of Directors’ remarks: Enzo Garritano and a co-chair of IHSA’s Board of Directors will present organizational updates, financial updates, and strategic initiatives. This session will provide transparency on IHSA’s direction.

Closing remarks: Final acknowledgments will conclude the formal portion of the afternoon before attendees continue to network and enjoy refreshments.

Awards presentation: IHSA will recognize individuals and organizations for their outstanding contributions to workplace health and safety. We will present these awards throughout the social.
