IHSA, WSN, and MLITSD host webinar on roles and responsibilities for training signing authorities

You are invited to attend a webinar to learn about roles and responsibilities for training signing authorities on Thursday, January 26, from 10 am to noon, jointly hosted by Infrastructure Health and Safety Association (IHSA), Workplace Safety North (WSN), and the Ministry of Labour, Immigration, Training and Skills Development (MLITSD).

Employees in specific industries are legally required to take MLITSD Training, Colleges, and Universities (TCU) modular classroom training programs. The Ministry sets competency requirements for these programs, and provincial health and safety associations are responsible for developing and delivering them to you.

The Signing Authority is the person designated by the employer and authorized by the Ministry who will be accountable and responsible for the quality of training, the maintenance of training records, and determining the competency of company workers for modular accreditation or certification.

Join the conversation as health and safety professionals discuss lessons learned, best practices, and challenges conducting audits. Register for the webinar.
