Health and Safety Advisory - Avoiding Electrical Contacts on Demolition Sites

In the demolition industry, electrical hazards are especially common when workers think that an electrical service has been disconnected, but it in fact remains energized or “live.” Due to the nature of the work, there is potential for this type of hazard to exist on most demolition projects. IHSA offers this advisory in order to raise awareness about key issues related to electrical hazards on demolition sites—and to help employers and workers take steps to safely control these hazards.
