Construction Health and Safety Rep – Part 1 Certification

This course covers general health and safety for all types of workplaces. Participants will learn how to act effectively as construction health and safety representatives, identify hazards, and take action to protect themselves and others in the workplace.

Who Should Attend?

Members of joint health and safety committees, health and safety representatives, supervisors, and employers. IHSA will record participant attendence. A record of completion will be given to those who successfully complete the course and performance review.

Certification Training, Part Two

Sector-Specific – Construction
Simulated Hazard Analysis – Construction.

Upon successful completion of Certification Training, Part One and Part Two, participants will receive JHSC Certification from the WSIB.

One of the eight required courses for the Construction Health & Safety Officer certificate.
